AGREEMENT:
(1) The Purchaser(s) agree to have the Kitten re-examined by a licensed vet
of their choice within 72
hours of receiving the Kitten. Failure to take the Kitten to a licensed vet within
the 72 hour guarantee
period will render Paragraph (1) of this contract null and void. The Kitten is to be
in quarantine during
this time. If the Kitten is found to be in unsound health within 72 hours of receiving
the Kitten with an
un-treatable or life-threatening problem, it must be reported to the Breeders immediately with
written
proof from a licensed vet of the condition, and the Purchaser(s) must return the Kitten to the Breeders
at the Breeder&s expense. If a comparable Kitten is not available within six months, the Breeders will
return the Purchaser(s) purchase price of the Kitten. The Breeders will incur the cost of shipment of a
new kitten if a replacement Kitten is available.
(2)
The Breeders highly recommend keeping the Kitten away from other pets and in a comfortable
room for at least two
to four weeks so that the Kitten can adjust to his or her new environment and
bond with the Purchaser(s).
(3) This Kitten is guaranteed from genetic defects for one year
from the date of delivery. The Kitten
will be replaced within six months at the Breeders expense only after
a licensed veterinarian&s
certificate is provided as proof of a genetic defect and the Kitten must be returned to
the Breeders at
the Breeders expense. If a comparable Kitten is not available within six months, the Breeders
will
return the Purchaser(s) purchase price of the Kitten. The Breeders will incur the cost of shipment of
a
new kitten if a replacement Kitten is available.
(4) The Breeders highly recommend not using the
Leukemia, FEP, FeLV vaccines on the Kitten or
any Live or Modified vaccines.
The Kitten should only receive Killed vaccines.
(5) Also, the Breeders highly recommend not using any injectable type of anesthetic on the Kitten, like
Ketamine.
Only use gas, such as Isoflorene.
(6) This Kitten is being sold as a pet and not for breeding purposes.
The Breeders recommend the
Kitten be neutered or spayed between five and eight months of age. TICA registration
papers will be
provided to the Purchaser(s) upon receipt of proof of altering by a licensed veterinarian.
(7) The Kitten is up to date on vaccines, de-wormed, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia Virus
(FeLV)
and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) prior to shipping. The Purchaser(s) are responsible
for vaccinating
and de-worming the Kitten at the appropriate times as recommended by their
veterinarian. The Breeders
recommend Fel-O-Vax PCT.
(8)
The Purchaser(s) agree to feed the Kitten only Nutro Max Kitten Roasted Chicken Flavor and 9-
Lives canned as the
Breeders have done for the first two weeks. The Breeders always have dry Nutro
Max available and provides
canned 9-Lives Tender Slices or Real Chicken or Beef and Gravy in the
morning and evening as a snack. Raw
Chicken, Beef, Turkey, or Fish are given as snacks in the
morning and evening. A
video of how to
de-skin and cut a raw chicken leg quarter is on our website.
Cooked Chicken, Beef, Turkey, Fish, etc., are
fine as long as the skin and the bones are removed.
The Breeders also sprinkle Mazuri Carnivore Supplement w/B
Vitamins & Taurine from Purina on all
canned, cooked, and raw food. This supplement can be purchased at
www.mazuri.com.
If the
Purchaser(s) want to change the Kitten&s food brand
and/or schedule, the Purchaser(s) agree to
gradually change it. The Kitten currently uses Tidy Cats or
Special Kitty (Multiple Cats) litter and the
Breeders recommend using the same litter or a similar clay litter.
Never use a clumping litter for a
Savannah
unless it is Swheat Scoop.
(9) The Purchaser(s) agree not to
sell, lease, loan, or give away the Kitten to a pet shop, research
lab, SPCA, or any similar facility. If
the Purchaser(s) wish to sell or give away the Kitten to another
home, the Purchaser(s) must notify the Breeders
with the option to purchase the Kitten back.
(10) The Purchaser(s) agree to always keep the Kitten indoors for his
or her whole life and only let
him or her outdoors if they are wearing a harness and on a leash or in a secured
outdoor
environment.
(11)If the Kitten is found to be neglected or mistreated or the purchaser(s) violate
paragraphs (9),
(10) in any way, the Purchaser(s) will surrender the Kitten to the Breeders unconditionally.
